About Doorway to Prosperity

In partnership with True Homes, we work to help increase affordable homeownership with the Doorway to Prosperity down payment assistance program. Doorway to Prosperity is for eligible House Charlotte homebuyers purchasing eligible homes in either Dukes Ridge or Wabash Ave neighborhoods in Charlotte, using an approved lender.

Doorway to Prosperity program-approved lenders offer between $7,500 and $95,000 in down payment assistance.

  • True Homes will also reduce the purchase price by $7,500, and
  • DreamKey Partners will provide $2,500 as part of Doorway to Prosperity down payment assistance.

Borrowers must use one of the following lenders to participate in the Doorway to Prosperity program.
